LAN-- Local Area Network
A local area network (LAN) is a computer network covering a small physical area, like a home, office, or small group of buildings, such as a school, or an airport.

*Ethernet was developed at Xerox PARC in 1973–1975,and filed as U.S. Patent 4,063,220. In 1976, after the system was deployed at PARC, Metcalfe and Boggs published their seminal paper

Cabling
*Early LAN cabling had always been based on various grades of co-axial cable, but IBM's Token Ring used shielded twisted pair cabling of their own design, and in 1984 StarLAN showed the potential of simple Cat3 unshielded twisted pair—the same simple cable used for telephone systems. This led to the development of 10Base-T (and its successors) and structured cabling which is still the basis of most LANs today. In addition, fiber-optic cabling is used increasingly for high-bandwidth local networking.

Ad-Hoc Topology

*An Ad-Hoc network is two or more computers connected to each other, without the use of a hub or connector, temporarily. The connection can be wired, wireless, Infrared or Bluetooth. This type of network is frequently used in a wireless network. For wired connections a cross-over cable is used. A cross-over cable looks like an Ethernet cable except two of the wires inside the connector are reversed. When configuring a wireless ad-hoc connection the wireless cards on each machine talk directly to each other. Ad-Hoc networks are commonly used to transfer and share files and printers. They are most often found in a home network.

Features

>Two or more computers connected to each other, without the use of a connecting device.

For wired connections a cross-over cable is used. A cross-over cable looks like an Ethernet cable except two of the wires inside the connector are reversed.

Advantages
Cost effective. If wired, the only expense is the cross-over cable.
Easy to set up for small or short term connections

Disadvantages
Not intended for a long-term setup
Not expandable - generally only able to connect 2 systems via any one media at a time. (Could have a crossover cable connecting 2 portables & each computer is connected via IR or Bluetooth to a PDA … but that is about as extended as the network could get).

♥ something kewl to buy this summe

wow isn't it kewl???**... that's jimmy choo's latest desert sandals .... it's really so nice that's all i can say the first time that i saw this pair of sandals over the net OMG.... i got so stunned .... and then i tried to look for the price another OMG.... maybe it would take me 10 more years before i could totally own like own jimmy choo sandals or shoes or whatever... i really really am looking forward into owning one of the gracious piece... i swear i wouldn't die without having one.... maybe not this model but i will have a jimmy choo maybe after a year hahahahaha..... but going back..... over the net as i try to check jimmy choo's website and saw the price it's like £387.00 and i try converting that to php it's like amp **** 27,000 in pesos wow..... but this sandals is really kewl and i have been seeing several sandals in our local shoe stores that looks basically like this..... the design is a must have well ...... asthe moment it certainly is a must have.... yeah specially that it's summer here in the philippines

and that it really hot here and open shoes or sandals arereally something that you shouldn't forget..... and you can pair this up with like amp.... short summer beach or board short.... nasty ragged skirts and so much more.... well... i might not have 27k as of the moment to spend .... for me to buy this kewl jimmy choo desert sandals but sure thing that i am capable of doing is tryinbg to find an alternative for it hehehehehehe..... i know... nothing can replace such master piece but.... well fashion aslo means innovation sometimes.... hrk hrk hrk..... (*.*) hahahahahahah.....

♥ call center drama

hahahahaha... it's almost a month now that i am working in this call center... well the atmosphere is great but... i am just so tired now because of the training traing sucks it's the most boring part of the call center job.. well that's for me... personal opinion lang poh!!!!! english training hahahahaha.... as if you are back in your elementary days.... boring..... and that you cannot argue with your trainer because for one thing he is your trainer and that you are just a trainee huhuhuhuhuhuh.... and that you have to follow their rules and think as they think whatever... anyways.... my life is boring again.......

♥ call center chaos

for almost two weeks i am having the craziest time of my life. you see this is the first time since high school that i actually woke up at 5 and took a bath around 5:30.... AM it is .... i dont know why i wanted to work in a call center ... you see my guardian is providing me well.... and work is most likely one of the last things that i would look for .... but something excites me with this kind of atmosphere... hehehehehehehehe... it's crazy... around here in the training i met like several types of people .... well you know me i like to categorize people ... according to how they affect me... hehehehehe ( right now ... i am actually on the training but obviously not listening is my thang.... ) i have this low attention span i really hate hate .... to stay in one place and do one thing continiously... i hate process... i want free flowing stuff... i mean free flowing activities bounderies are never my thang... at least that's what i know for now .... okay going back to what i was saying i love ... to categorize people according how they affect me or how they act basically... so while i am here ( and still is here) i found different sets of people.... here we go !!!!!

first up are the feelers....
they are the pretentious wanna be's that doesn't have the dough but feels as if they have it.... they will act like..... someone from the upper class society but later on you would figure out that they aren't what they seem to be ... i so hate this kind of people they will make you feel awkward.... and they are also the type that thinks the world revolve around them... ahahahahah as if ... another sub genre from this kind is ---- feelers ala moi.... when they are infront of you they act like they are you... they start to talk like you and they feel that they you...crazy but true there are people that feels that they are SOMETHING though in fact NOTHING is the word for them....
